Coordinate Reference Systems used in Belgium

Belgium's national projection is Belge Lambert 72 (EPSG:31370) on the Belgium 1972 datum. The Lambert 2008 (EPSG:3812) projection on ETRS89 is increasingly used for new federal data and INSPIRE compliance. Cadastre Belgium and the National Geographic Institute (NGI) publish maps in both systems.
