Coordinate Reference Systems used in Ireland

Ireland's current projection is Irish Transverse Mercator (EPSG:2157) on ITRF/ETRS89, replacing the legacy Irish Grid (EPSG:29903) on the Ireland 1965 datum. Ordnance Survey Ireland (OSi) and Land & Property Services Northern Ireland publish all current mapping in ITM. Older cadastral records remain in Irish Grid; conversion between the two systems is well-defined.
