Coordinate Reference Systems used in South Korea

South Korea uses Korea 2000 (KGD2002, EPSG:4737) as its current geodetic datum, with the Korea Unified Coordinate System realised in EPSG:5179-5188. The previous datum, Tokyo Datum (EPSG:4737), is retained in legacy records. The National Geographic Information Institute (NGII) is migrating cadastre and national mapping to Korea 2000.
